Description
Kalyanotsavam Puja is a special Hindu ritual performed to celebrate the divine wedding of the deity, symbolizing marital bliss, harmony, and prosperity. This puja is most commonly associated with Lord Venkateswara (Tirupati Balaji), but similar rituals are performed for other deities in certain temples.
The word Kalyanotsavam literally means “auspicious marriage ceremony,” and the ritual represents devotion, love, and the devotee’s surrender to the deity.
