Kedarnath Temple is a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Garhwal Himalayas near the Mandakini River in Uttarakhand. Believed to have been originally built by the Pandavas and later revived by Adi Shankaracharya, the temple stands at an altitude of about 3,583 meters (11,755 ft). It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and an important part of the Char Dham Yatra, attracting thousands of pilgrims each year.
