Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most sacred and revered temples in India, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located in the holy city of Varanasi, the temple stands on the western bank of the sacred Ganga and is a major center of faith and devotion.

The presiding deity is Shiva in the form of Vishwanath, meaning “Lord of the Universe.”

Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, the holiest shrines of Lord Shiva. Devotees believe that a visit to this temple grants spiritual liberation (moksha) and washes away sins.

It is said that Lord Shiva himself resides in Kashi (Varanasi), making the city eternal and spiritually powerful.
